Terms of service

1. Acceptance and provider

By using this website or confirming a consultation, you accept these terms. The service provider is Codepilotbase, Level 8, 53 Zimmerstraße, Berlin 10117, Germany. A proposal or booking confirmation may add scope-specific terms; if they conflict, the later written agreement controls for that engagement.

2. Scope and client responsibilities

We provide general employment onboarding information, document organisation and practical preparation. We do not provide legal representation, immigration decisions, tax advice or recruitment. You must provide accurate, relevant information, review deliverables promptly and meet your own authority, employer and contractual deadlines.

3. Fees and performance

Fees, VAT treatment, timing and included follow-up are stated before confirmation. Work begins at the agreed time or when advance documents are received. Authority processing times and third-party decisions are outside our control.

4. Intellectual property

Codepilotbase owns the website text, visual design and reusable consultation materials. After full payment, you may use your tailored roadmap for personal employment onboarding. You may not resell, publish or remove authorship notices from our materials.

5. Liability

We perform services with reasonable professional care. To the extent permitted by German law, liability for ordinary negligence is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract. This limitation does not apply to injury to life, body or health, intent, gross negligence, mandatory product liability, guarantees, or essential contractual duties where law prohibits limitation.

6. Ending an engagement

Either party may end an engagement for material breach after a reasonable opportunity to remedy it, unless immediate termination is legally justified. Fees remain due for agreed work already performed. Consumer cancellation rights and our practical refund rules are described in the cancellation and refund policy.

7. Governing law and disputes

German law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. Statutory jurisdiction rules apply. The European Commission’s former ODR platform is no longer available; consumers may contact a competent consumer arbitration body, though Codepilotbase is not obliged to participate unless required by law.
