Client stories
What changed after the conversation
Useful evidence is not a star rating. These accounts describe the document, handover or decision that became clearer.
“The roadmap separated what my company had to sign from what I had to book. I used it in a call with our people partner, and we found that the employer declaration was still assigned to the wrong office.”
— Ravi, data analyst moving from Bengaluru
“I expected the consultation to include more direct advice on negotiating probation. Mara was clear that this belonged with an employment lawyer. That limit was disappointing at first, but the HR question list and Blue Card sequence were genuinely useful.”
— Sofia, product designer joining a Hamburg employer
“My first payslip used temporary tax details, and I thought the whole onboarding had failed. We traced which registration information payroll had received, drafted a precise message, and I understood what needed correction.”
— Daniel, research scientist in Potsdam
From conflicting dates to one employment timeline
A civil engineer had an entry date, contract date and project-site induction listed in three different email threads. The residence appointment had been booked using an older start date. During the onboarding review, we placed every dated commitment on one page and marked its source.
The client asked HR to confirm the contractual start in writing and issue a consistent role summary. Codepilotbase then adjusted the preparation roadmap around the confirmed date. No promise was made about authority processing; the useful outcome was a document set that told one coherent employment story.
Helping a small employer find its part
A Berlin studio was hiring internationally for the first time. Its new employee had received personal-document instructions but no owner for the employer forms. With the employee’s consent, the consultation produced a short division of responsibilities for the managing director, payroll provider and candidate.
The employer completed its declaration, payroll identified the secure channel for bank details, and the employee stopped forwarding broad checklists to everyone. The value came from ownership, not more paperwork.
