About Codepilotbase

Guidance built around the handover

International hiring succeeds when the employee, employer and public authority are working from the same facts.

Employment adviser in a bright Berlin office

Why this work exists

Codepilotbase began after repeated conversations with skilled professionals who had secured strong roles in Germany but received fragmented instructions for the move. HR understood the company. Relocation providers understood logistics. Official pages described requirements. The employee still had to decide what to do on Monday morning.

Our work concentrates on that handover. We connect employment facts with the practical onboarding sequence, identify the right owner for each question, and write down the result.

The person behind the consultation

Mara Klein leads client consultations from Berlin. Her background spans international employee onboarding, German HR operations and cross-border hiring coordination. She works in English with professionals and, where helpful, their hiring contacts.

Codepilotbase is an independent onboarding consultancy, not a law firm, immigration authority, recruitment agency or tax practice. Boundaries are part of responsible guidance: clients are referred to regulated professionals when their question requires formal legal or tax advice.

Working principles

Specific before comprehensive. A reliable next action is more useful than an enormous generic checklist.

One named owner. Every task should belong to the employee, employer, authority or specialist.

No invented certainty. Timelines and decisions remain with public authorities and other institutions. We explain dependencies without promising outcomes.

Less personal data. We review only what the agreed scope needs and ask clients to redact unrelated information.
